Playing over the weekend!

Yesterday, after extensive cleaning the house, my daughter and I sat down and played with the stamps and made some cards.

This is one that I used a digi from Prairy Fairies and I absolutely LOVE her!  She is so much fun and can be used for any time of the year.  This particular card I made for a woman at work to give to her grandaughter.  :)

Then because this one turned out so good, I made on for my daughter, which she will get in her lunchbox this week.

And then on Friday, when I got my mail, I received the stamps I ordered from PaperSmooches and just had to play.  So, made the following. The stamps are Halloweenies!  Aren't they just adorable?!?!?!  I am in LOVE with them ;)  Used paper I bought at Michaels and my Copic markers!  The kids had lots of fun with them too!

Well, that's it for this post.  Hope you enjoyed my cards as much as I loved making them.

Cheering up a friend

A friend of mine is going through some really hard times right now, so I made the following card for her and I hope it makes her smile and possibly forget for a little while and perhaps put a smile on her face.  The girl is a digi from Anita B. Stampin and I used Copic markers to color it.  The "Go Confidently" stamp is from Verve.

Last night, I played with the following Digi from Totally Stampalicious.  I am patiently waiting for the stamps that I ordered (can't wait!!!!)...  She is from the Witch Brawd set.  Colored with the Copic Markers (LOVE THEM)

Again, I can't wait for the stamps, I have so many ideas that are in my head as to what I want to do with them.  Hope you enjoy... Have a great weekend!

A few cards

When Hurricane Irene hit, we lost our electric.  So, in the middle of playing with the kids, I managed to get the following done.... ;)

(stamps from the above two cards were from Verve - LOVE THEM)
(stamp from Stampin Up and smaller sentiment is from Anita B Stampin)
(stamp used was from Verve and the flower stamp is from Stampin Up)
I had fun with my new stamps from Verve, my Cuddlebug machine and my kids!  We played with the things that didn't require electricity and managed to get some cards made and have fun at the same time.  See, we can still use our imagination and work in the daytime.
