Loving Life!

I love making cards and while looking at some of my favorite sites, I saw some really cool layouts and contests that I wanted to try and enter.  One of them, I was unable to get the cards made in time, so here they are.... (that is what I get for only being able to work on cards on Sundays)...

The digi is from Bugaboo and the stamp can be found at the wonderful site of Stampalicious!  There are a lot of possibilities with this penguin and the cup of cocoa!  Don't you just want to curl up in front of the TV with a cup of hot, steamy cocoa now!

Have a great day!

Fairy Godmother

These are stamps from Stampalicious!  I love the Fairy Godmother and the many different ways you can color her.  She is turning out to be a lot of fun!

You can do her hair many different colors along with her outfit.  I chose Pink and Gray for these two cards and will be mailing them out soon.  The markers I used were my Copics, love the way that they color!

Think Pink!

Okay, in honor of a great friend of mine who is a breast cancer survivor, I created the following cards.  The digi is from Anita B. Stampin and the digi is Busty Betty!  She is very sassy and I always enjoy coloring her!

I had a few more cards to download, but, unfortunately my computer is not cooperating.  So, enjoy these and I hope to try again tomorrow.  Have a great night!

Here is the other card... it is my favorite!

My little Dragon

I made these bookmarks using the dragon stamp from Totally Stampalicious.  It is AWESOME and I have to say that out off all the stamps I own (and I own a lot), this is my favorite.  Takes me back to "Puff the Magic Dragon" and that was why I bought it, reminded me of a part of my childhood.  So, in an effort to let me play and give my children something from me that would make an impression on them, I bought the stamp.  This is the first of many things I plan on using this stamp for.

Aren't the dragons just adorable????? I hope this helps instill the love of reading in my children...

My new stamps - WITCHY!!!!!!

I received my new stamps from Totally Stampalicious.  They are AWESOME and the ladies over there are such a pleasure to deal with.  Here is what I made with some of my new stamps.  Hope you enjoy looking as much as I totally enjoyed making them!

For both, I used my Copic markers and for the second one I thought it would be fun to add some google eyes, make it more interesting.  The stamps are the Witchy Brawd, isn't she just lovely!

I am in the process of coloring my dragon from Totally Stampalicious and am most excited about what I have done with him so far, just need to put him on something and then I will post pictures.

Have a great day!

Playing over the weekend!

Yesterday, after extensive cleaning the house, my daughter and I sat down and played with the stamps and made some cards.

This is one that I used a digi from Prairy Fairies and I absolutely LOVE her!  She is so much fun and can be used for any time of the year.  This particular card I made for a woman at work to give to her grandaughter.  :)

Then because this one turned out so good, I made on for my daughter, which she will get in her lunchbox this week.

And then on Friday, when I got my mail, I received the stamps I ordered from PaperSmooches and just had to play.  So, made the following. The stamps are Halloweenies!  Aren't they just adorable?!?!?!  I am in LOVE with them ;)  Used paper I bought at Michaels and my Copic markers!  The kids had lots of fun with them too!

Well, that's it for this post.  Hope you enjoyed my cards as much as I loved making them.

Cheering up a friend

A friend of mine is going through some really hard times right now, so I made the following card for her and I hope it makes her smile and possibly forget for a little while and perhaps put a smile on her face.  The girl is a digi from Anita B. Stampin and I used Copic markers to color it.  The "Go Confidently" stamp is from Verve.

Last night, I played with the following Digi from Totally Stampalicious.  I am patiently waiting for the stamps that I ordered (can't wait!!!!)...  She is from the Witch Brawd set.  Colored with the Copic Markers (LOVE THEM)

Again, I can't wait for the stamps, I have so many ideas that are in my head as to what I want to do with them.  Hope you enjoy... Have a great weekend!

A few cards

When Hurricane Irene hit, we lost our electric.  So, in the middle of playing with the kids, I managed to get the following done.... ;)

(stamps from the above two cards were from Verve - LOVE THEM)
(stamp from Stampin Up and smaller sentiment is from Anita B Stampin)
(stamp used was from Verve and the flower stamp is from Stampin Up)
I had fun with my new stamps from Verve, my Cuddlebug machine and my kids!  We played with the things that didn't require electricity and managed to get some cards made and have fun at the same time.  See, we can still use our imagination and work in the daytime.

Kids.....

Last night my daughter and I worked on our Christmas cards.  She helped me put some more together, what do you think? (Stamps are from Stampin Up)

They are the cutest Hedgehogs, if I do say so myself.  Once I get them done, I hope to start on my Halloween cards and my fall cards.  I was also able to get some cards done for my kids backpacks.  This year I am making little note cards for them for encouragement throughout the day.  Will write on the back things like: I love you, I am so proud of you, You can do it!  (I used the elephant stamp from Verve)

I can't believe I am going to have two in second grade and one starting Kindergarten.  It is so exciting, hoping to just survive the homework with my son who was darn near impossible last year.  Here's to a better year!

Welcome

Wow, guess I am in the correct century.  I have started a "real" blog.  This is going to be a process of trial and error.  Please be patient :) Will be posting pictures soon, for now, I am just going to play and see what I can do with this.  I plan on posting pictures of the cards I make and stories about my kids and life in general.  :)
